RCTA currently has the following positions available. Please note there are openings available for both the Houghton Lake Office and Mio Office. Locations are noted ahead of the positions available.

Houghton Lake and Mio Offices Dispatch- Full time: Seeking full-time dispatcher willing to work 5 days a week and occasional Saturdays. Successful applicants must possess a High School diploma or GED, be able to pass a criminal background check and driver’s license check and pass a pre-employment drug/alcohol screening (marijuana is federally illegal and cannot be in your system anytime while working for RCTA). Starting wage is $20.00/hr., and employees will receive a raise around the 90 day mark to $20.82/ hr. as you are released from probation and become a regular employee. Applicants currently holding a CDL license with P endorsement is a plus. However, RCTA is willing to train the right individual. Successful applicants must possess a High School diploma or GED, be able to pass a criminal background check and drivers license check, and pass a pre-employment physical and drug/alcohol screening. Starting wages without a CDL is $20.00/hr. while training, with a CDL is $20.50/hr. while training, and all employees will receive a raise around the 90 day mark to $20.82/ hr. as you are released from probation and become a regular employee. Applicants currently holding a CDL license with P endorsement is a plus. However, is not required for our occasional positions.
